THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT STANDARD OF PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMA SCHOOL GENERAL EDUCATION IN UBONRATCHATHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of research study entitled The Development of Educational Management Standard of Phrapariyattidhama School General Education in Ubonratchathani Province are aimed 1) to examine the educational management and its environment at Phrapariyattidhama School General Education in Ubonratchathani province 2) to study the problems, obstacles and limitations of educational management of Phrapariyattidhama School General Education in Ubonratchathani province and 3) to propose the possible guidelines and suggestions for educational management standard of Phrapariyattidhama School General Education in Ubonratchathani province. The findings were revealed that. 1. The educational management of Phrapariyattidhama School General Education in Ubonratchathani province is a national university which is established according to the will of sangkha committee. It is either focus on Dhamma studies; Dhamma section and Pali section or general education section which is fundamental base for learning. The model for educational management of Phrapariyattidhamma School General Education is administrated and operated for high school level (Matthayomsuksa) which is categorized into 2 levels: junior high school (grade7-9)and senior high school (grade 10-12). Furthermore, the school operation is as same as many of which are either public or private schools. According to the school curriculum, it is also based upon Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008) which is operated by Ministry of Education. 2. The problems including obstacles and limitations of educational management at Phrapariyattidhamma School General Education in Ubonratchathani province are overall at moderate levels. 3. The possible guidelines and suggestions for educational management standard of Phrapariyattidhamma School General Education in Ubonratchathani province are as follows: 3.1) Curriculum section should be operated by a variety of learning techniques and student-centered method should also be made in order to make learners learn by doing. 3.2) Teaching-learning section the student-centered method should fully be administrated by making learners learn by doing. Furthermore, it helps promote them to develop their capacities regarding individual differences. 3.3) Teaching-learning materials should be taken into consideration regarding with teaching-learning selection; choosing, selecting, implementing, conducting and developing the educational innovations and learning resources in order to implement the proper learning management. It also should be applicable for those learners and it should be relevant to teaching and learning content, learning standard, indicators and learning objectives., and 3.4) Criteria for learning assessment should be assessed with a variety of tools for assessment and it also should be relevant to learning standard, indicators and learning objectives.
