Abstract

The purpose of this research are as follows: (1) To study the concepts, theories, and evolution of asset management of Buddhist monks upon death according to the principles of the Vinaya (monastic discipline); (2) to examine the laws related to the asset management of Buddhist monks upon death, including relevant foreign laws and Supreme Court judgements; (3) to analyze and compare the laws related to the asset management of Buddhist monks upon death; and (4) to summarize and propose solutions to address the issues in managing the assets of Buddhist monks upon death. The results of the study found that 1. History of Buddhism including the Dhamma and Vinaya and monastic laws related to the political rights of monks. It was found that the political role of His Majesty the Lord Buddha in the Buddha's time He remained politically neutral. He was careful not to get involved in politics both in different regions and between regions or states. But he acted as a consultant. He prophesied to solve the problems and sufferings of the people and kings in various regions with Buddhist wisdom. Great grace and pure. 2. The main theoretical concept of political human rights Study constitutional law and other laws. and international law Concerning the restriction of political rights of monks, it was found that methods for limiting voting rights in liberal democratic states It has relied on rules to limit the right to vote in a limited voting rights system. and rules for limiting the right to vote in a universal voting rights system. 3. Results of the analysis of the role of Buddhism in politics from the past to the present, monastic law, constitutional law, and other laws related to limiting political rights of monks. Comparing with the principles of human rights of monks, it is found that the opinion of countries that restrict the rights or exercise of voting rights of monks or clergy is based on religious reasons and therefore prohibits the clergy from being involved in politics. 4) Conclusions and recommendations regarding appropriate political rights of monks in Theravada Buddhism in Thailand found that there is a restriction on voting rights and the right to apply for elections for monks, novices, and ascetics With concern over the situation of Buddhism of senior monks in the past, which has been announced as a statement by the Sangha and orders of the Sangha Supreme Council. It is for the goodness of the monks. It is a source of faith for those who are not yet believers. It is more faithful to those who are already devout. and for peace and tranquility according to the ideals of Buddhism that the Lord Buddha has well laid down.
