THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND TEACHERS' TEAMWORK COMPETENCIES UNDER THE UBON RATCHATHANI PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION

Abstract
The purposes of this research were (1) To study the level of school environmental management under the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization; (2) To study the level of teachers' teamwork competencies under the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization; and (3) To study the relationship between school environmental management and teachers’ teamwork competencies under the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization. The samples consisted of 260 teachers who had worked in schools under the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization in academic year 2023. The instruments used for data collection were five point-rating scale questionnaires. The questionnaires were distributed to five experts to check for content validity. The IOC (Index of Item - Objective Congruence) was valued due to the fact that it was at 0.60-1.00, the reliability of teamwork competencies was at 0.959 and the reliability of the environmental management in schools was at 0.961. The data analysis was done by percentage, mean and standard deviation and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The research results were revealed as follows: 1) The level of school environmental management under the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization was at high as a whole level. In terms of the individual aspects, the research was found to be at a high level in all aspects in descending order and by average as follows; instruction, social and cultural aspects, landscapes in the school buildings. 2) The level of teachers’ teamwork competencies under the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization as a whole was at a high level. In term of the individual aspects, the research found it to be at high level in all aspects, in descending order of the average as follows; team collaboration, adaption to the team, work participation, team-leading role and peer reinforcement. 3) There was a statistically significant positive relationship at a level of .01 between school environmental management and teachers' teamwork competencies under the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Administrative Organization. The Pearson's correlation coefficient (r) = 0.779 showed that the two variables had a relationship at a high level.
