The Relationship Between Transformational Leadership and Academic Administration of Administrators Under the Office of Phatthalung Education Service Area 2

Abstract

 This research aimed to study the relationship between transformational leadership and academic administration among school administrators in the Phatthalung Educational Service Area Office 2 during the 2025 academic year. This was a quantitative research study. The sample consisted of 274 school administrators from schools under the Phatthalung Educational Service Area Office 2. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistical analyses included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation coefficient.
The research found: 1. The school administrators under the supervision of Phatthalung primary educational service area office 2 had transformational leadership in overall picture at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that ideological influence was highest, consideration of individuality, inspirational aspect, and cognitive stimulation were high. 2. The school administrators under the supervision of Phatthalung primary educational service area office 2 had academic administration in overall picture at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that educational supervision was highest, instructional management, educational quality assurance, measurement and evaluation, classroom research, education innovation and technology development, and curriculum and curriculum management, were high level. And 3. Transformational leadership and academic administration of school administrators under the supervision of Phatthalung primary educational service area office 2, in overall picture there was a positive relationship relatively high statistically significant at .01 level, a correlation coefficient (r) was 0.633.
