Abstract

This research article aimed to (1) examine the attitude factors affecting the purchasing decision of service robots among service industry operators in Bangkok and its vicinity, and (2) investigate the technology acceptance factors affecting the purchasing decision of service robots among service industry operators in Bangkok and its vicinity. This study employed a quantitative research approach. The population consisted of service industry operators in Bangkok and its vicinity, totaling 260 branches. The sample comprised 155 respondents, including business representatives, managers, or supervisors, with one respondent selected from each branch. The sample size was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan formula, and simple random sampling was applied. A questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection. The statistical methods used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that (1) attitude factors significantly affected the purchasing decision of service robots among service industry operators in Bangkok and its vicinity at the 0.05 level of statistical significance, and (2) technology acceptance factors significantly affected the purchasing decision of service robots among service industry operators in Bangkok and its vicinity at the 0.05 level of statistical significance.
