Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) develop the RASAE Model learning management approach to enhance analytical thinking ability among Grade 6 students at TOA Wittaya School (Municipal School 1 Wat Kham Sai Thong), Mukdahan Municipality, to achieve the efficiency criterion of 80/80; (2) examine the effectiveness of the model by comparing students’ learning achievement before and after the implementation, as well as investigating students’ satisfaction; and (3) expand the implementation of the learning management model. The sample consisted of 35 Grade 6/3 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included a questionnaire on current and expected conditions using a five-point rating scale with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranging from 0.80–1.00 and an overall reliability coefficient of 0.89, a satisfaction assessment form, and lesson plans. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing using the dependent samples t-test.

The findings revealed that: (1) the developed RASAE Model consisted of five steps: Reviewing (R), Analyzing (A), Sharing (S), Applying (A), and Evaluating (E). The model demonstrated an efficiency of 82.60/81.58, exceeding the established criterion of 80/80; (2) students’ post-test learning achievement and analytical thinking ability were significantly higher than their pre-test scores at the .05 level of statistical significance, and overall student satisfaction was at a high level; and (3) in the expansion phase, the model showed an efficiency of 82.95/81.90, meeting the 80/80 criterion. Post-test learning achievement and analytical thinking ability were significantly higher than pre-test scores at the .05 level, overall satisfaction remained at a high level, and there was no significant difference in analytical thinking ability between the original sample group and the expansion group.
