A teaching package development on Thai culture by using 4 mat learning of grade 6 students, Hardkhambonwattana school, Hardkham sub district, Muaeng district, Nongkhai province

Abstract

       The objectives of this research were 1) to study the problems in teaching package development, 2) to develop teaching packages, and 3) to study student satisfaction with learning management. It's an experimental research. The target group used in this research was 30 students in grade 6, semester 2, academic year 2022, Hat Kham Bon Wattana School. Using the 4 MAT learning method, the statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results were summarized as follows.

       The research results were as follows:

1. The efficiency of the teaching package E1 was 91.16 and the efficiency of the result E2 was 90.08. Therefore, the teaching package on Thai culture using the 4 MAT learning method developed by the researcher was effective (E1/E2) equal to 91.16/90.08, which is considered higher than the 80/80 threshold


2. The student's learning achievement before learning had an average score of 16.40 out of a full score of 35, representing 54.66% after learning with the teaching package. The average score was 26.46 out of a full score of 35, representing 88.22%, with 80% of students having an average academic achievement of more than 80%.


3. Student satisfaction with teaching packages about Thai culture By using the 4 MAT learning method, grade 6 students found that the overall level was at a high level ( = 4.35, S.D. = 0.36). The average level was high in all aspects.
