The Innovative Leadership of School Administrators in the 21st Century under the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

         This research article aimed to examine the level of innovative leadership among school administrators in the 21st century and to compare differences based on work experience and school size under the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 for the academic year 2024. The sample consisted of 229 participants selected through simple random sampling using a lottery method. The research instrument was a 5-point rating scale questionnaire with content validity (IOC = 0.80–1.00) and an overall reliability coefficient of 0.933. The statistical methods employed included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.

         The research findings indicated that the overall innovative leadership of school administrators was at a high level. When compared by school size, no overall differences were found; however, statistically significant differences at the .05 level were identified in the areas of creating an innovative environment, teamwork, and the use of information and communication technology. Regarding work experience, statistically significant differences at the .001 level were found in the overall innovative leadership among administrators with different lengths of work experience.
