Relationship between factors that lead to success and strategic management in educational institutions of the Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area office 3

Abstract
This study aims to 1) examine the level of factors affecting the success of educational institutions, 2) study the level of strategic management of educational institutions, and 3) investigate the relationship between the factors influencing the success of educational institutions and the strategic management of educational institutions. The sample group consists of 320 educational administrators and teachers under the Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, calculated using the Krejcie and Morgan table formula. The research instrument used was a questionnaire that was validated by experts, ensuring that the questions aligned with the definitions, with a consistency index of 0.67 or higher. The questionnaire was then tested with a sample group of 30 educational administrators and teachers under the Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, who were not part of the population used in this research. The researcher collected the data personally and analyzed it using statistical percentages, means, and standard deviations. The research findings revealed that :
- 1. Factors influencing the success of school management under the Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office Zone 3 are generally at a high level. When considered by aspect, it is found that the factor of organizational capability in management has the highest average, followed by the factor of leadership. The factors of teaching staff and participation have the lowest averages.
- 2. The management condition of strategic educational institutions under the Chiang Rai Primary Education Area Office 3 is overall at a high level. When considering each aspect, it is found that the evaluation of organizations and environments has the highest average, followed by the formulation of strategies and the implementation of strategies. The control and evaluation aspect has the lowest average.
- 3. The analysis results to find the relationship between factors affecting success and strategic management of schools under the Chiang Rai Primary Education Service Area Office 3 show an overall moderate positive correlation (r = .386**) that is statistically significant at the .01 level, which is consistent with the research hypothesis.
