The Effect of Business Failure Learning Program on the Transformation of Failure Response Approaches and Business Practices of Community Enterprise Entrepreneurs in Chaiyaphum Province
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research article is a qualitative study with two objectives: 1) to investigate how community enterprise entrepreneurs respond to failure after being intervened with a business failure learning program, and 2) to analyze key lessons and principles applicable to community enterprise development. The sample group consisted of 15 community enterprise entrepreneurs who underwent an intervention of a business failure learning program, selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected using interview transcripts and analyzed using Thematic analysis. The data analysis revealed that 1) community enterprise entrepreneurs developed more constructive responses to failure across their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral intentions, such as viewing failure as part of success and possessing determination to move forward without fear of failure; 2) key principles and lessons applicable to community enterprises include that failure is not the end of a business but an opportunity to learn and improve. Successful entrepreneurs are often determined, persistent, adaptable, learn from mistakes and failures, are open to customer feedback, and develop products that meet market needs.
