Factors Affecting the Management of Local Administrative Organizations of Kaeng Khro Subdistrict Municipality, Kaeng Khro District, Chaiyaphum Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the factors affecting the administration of local administrative organizations of Kaeng Khro Subdistrict Municipality, 2) study the problems and obstacles in the administration of Kaeng Khro Subdistrict Municipality, and 3) study the appropriate administration guidelines of Kaeng Khro Subdistrict Municipality, Kaeng Khro District, and Chaiyaphum Province. The sample group consisted of 103 person. The target group was selected from the ready-made table of Krejcie and Morgan (Krejcie & Morgan). The research instruments were questionnaires. The statistics used in the research were frequency distribution and percentage, average weight of opinions for each item by finding the median, average weight distribution of answers by finding the standard deviation, and statistical values to test the relationship between the variables. The research results found that: 1) the most important factor affecting the administration of local administrative organizations of Kaeng Khro Subdistrict Municipality, Kaeng Khro District, Chaiyaphum Province is the budget, as it is an important part in driving the work in terms of personnel and supporting projects and solving problems as requested by the people, 2) Problems and obstacles in the administration of Kaeng Khro Subdistrict Municipality, Kaeng Khro District, Chaiyaphum Province, and finding solutions, and finding that the most important part is insufficient budget, including insufficient personnel, the number of people and work are not related, too much work, too few people, insufficient budget, and the solution is to increase personnel or reduce unnecessary work, including requesting a budget from the central government to develop and respond to the needs of the people in a timely manner, 3) The appropriate administration guidelines can be summarized as follows: reduce the amount of unnecessary work to be balanced with the number of officials, including officials being aware of their roles, responsibilities and intentionally working according to their authority.
