The Influences of Human Resources Management on the Efficiency of Local Government Organization in Na Klang District Nong Bua Lamphu Province

Abstract

         This research aimed to: 1) study the level of human resource management in local administrative organizations in Naklang District Nong Bua Lamphu Province, 2) examine the efficiency of local administrative organizations in Naklang District Nong Bua Lamphu Province, and 3) investigate the influence of human resource management on the efficiency of local administrative organizations in Naklang District Nong Bua Lamphu Province. The sample consisted of 242 participants selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistical methods used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.

         The findings revealed that: 1) The overall human resource management of local administrative organizations in Naklang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, was at a high level. When considering each aspect, the highest average score was in the aspect of human resource retention and protection, followed by human resource recruitment, human resource development, and human resource reward systems. 2) The overall efficiency of local administrative organizations in Naklang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, was at a high level. When considering each aspect, the highest score was in management, followed by personnel administration and council affairs, good governance, financial and fiscal administration, and public services. 3) The variables of human resource management, including human resource development, human resource retention and protection, human resource reward systems, and human resource recruitment, had a positive influence on the efficiency of local administrative organizations in Naklang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. and could together explain the change in variation of the efficiency for local governing organizations in the area of Naklang District in Nong Bua Lamphu Province for the percentage of 51.50.
