The relationship between administrators’ strategic leadership and academic administration in schools under Nakhon Ratchasima primary educational service area office 7

Abstract
The objectives of this research article were to study: 1) strategic leadership of administrators, 2) academic administration in schools, 3) relationship between strategic leadership of administrators and academic administration in schools under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 7. The sample group included school administrators and teachers, with the total number of 339 people using stratified random sampling method. The instrument used in this research was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The confidence value was determined by finding the alpha coefficient of Cronbach (1990). The whole questionnaire had a confidence value of 0.91, indicating that the questionnaire was confident. The statistics used in the research comprised frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The research results were found that: 1. Strategic leadership of the administrators, in overall, was rated at a high level, when considering each area, it was found that the aspect with the highest level of practice was establishing organizational direction, followed by creating organizational culture and the aspect with the lowest level of practice was strategy implementation. 2. Academic administration of schools, in overall, was rated at a high level when considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest level of practice was the development of learning process, followed by the development and use of media, educational technology and the aspect with the lowest level of practice was measurement and evaluation, and credit transfer. 3. Correlation coefficient between strategic leadership of administrators and academic administration in schools was found that the relationship, in overall, was at a high level (r=0.80) and the relationship was in a positive direction with statistical significance at .01 level, and the variable with the highest relationship was strategic leadership of administrators in establishing organizational culture and academic administration in schools consisting of a high level of relationship (r=0.82) with statistical significance at .01 level.
