ADMINISTRATIVE EFFICIENCY AFFECTING PARENTS' DECISIONS TO SEND THEIR CHILDREN TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN PATHUM THANI PROVINCE UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE PRIVATE EDUCATION COMMISSION

Abstract

            The objectives of this research were to study 1) administrative efficiency and 2) to study the parents’ decisions making in sending their children to private schools in Pathum Thani Province. under the Office of the Private Education Commission; and 3) to study the Administrative efficiency affecting the parents' decision in sending their children to private schools in Pathum Thani Province under the Office of the Private Education Commission. The sample group used in this research was the private schools’ parents in Pathum Thani Province under the Office of the Private Education Commission of 367 people, the sample size was calculated according to the formula of Taro Yamane (Yamane), the instrument used in the research. It was a checklist-type questionnaire according to the 5-level estimation section of the liqueur. The total confidence value was 0.99. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.


          The results of the research were as follows: 1) the Administrative efficiency affecting the private schools in Pathum Thani Province under the Office of the Private Education Commission, overall, at a high level When considering individual aspects, it was found that it was at a high level in every aspect. The averages were sorted from the highest to the lowest as follows: the relationship aspect between schools and the community, the Student Affairs aspect, the Premises aspect, the Finance aspect and supplies, the Personnel aspect, and the Academic aspect. 2) Parents' decisions making in sending their children to the private schools in Pathum
Thani Province under the Office of the Private Education Commission Overall, there was at a high level. When considering individual aspects, it was found at a high level in every aspect. The averages were sorted from highest to lowest as follows: the Facilities aspect and Services, the Premises aspect and the Environmental aspect, the Academic Fees aspect, and the Personnel
aspect. 3) Parents with different marital statuses. They had the decision to send their children to study in private schools in Pathum Thani province under the Office of the Private Education Commission Overall, there was no difference. When considering the individual aspects, it was found that the Academic aspect, the personnel aspect, the Premises aspect, and the environmental aspect were significantly different at the .05 level.
