PROBLEMS AND NEEDS FOR PARENTS INVOLVEMENT IN EDUCATION OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER MUANG PATHUM THANI DISTRICT PATHUM THANI PROVINCE

Abstract
The study aimed to 1) determine the level of the problem and the need to participate in this study. Child Development Center, Pathum Thani Province, Muang Pathum Thani Pathum Thani 2) to compare problems and needs of parents involvement in education classified by sex Child Development, and educational level. The sample used in this study included Parents of Child Development Center, Pathum Thani Province, academic year 2014 total of 109 people by simple random sampling. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire, 5 step rating scale, the reliability has ranged from 0.60 to 1.00. The reliability of the
questionnaire was 0.91, statistics used in data analysis were percentage, average, standard deviation and t - test.
Results of this study are 1. The involvement of parents in overall is moderate. When considering in each aspect it is found that the needs of parent involvement of parents are the environment, the communication of involvement and support learning, the parenting and the decision respectively. 2. The need for participation of parents. Overall is moderate. When considering in
each aspect it is found that the problems of parent involvement is the need for decision, demand for management, the environment, communications and the contribute to support and learning respectively. 3. Parents with different gender and education level having problems and needs to be involved in education as a whole at the different levels. 05.
