Motivation for the Performance of Personnel of the Seafarers

Abstract
The objectives of this research are: (1) to study the level of motivation for working for seafarers’ standards personnel; (2) to study the relationship between working factors and motivation for working for seafarers’ standards personnel. (3) to propose guidelines for enhancing the motivation for the performance of seafarers' personnel standards.
This research is a mixed method research. For the quantitative research, the population consisted of 50 seafarer standards personnel who were general employees and executives. Data were collected using questionnaires. Statistics used in data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. One-way analysis of variance, t-test values. Qualitative research the key informant is the head of the general administration unit. Head of Seafarer Contract Department Head of the Seafarer Registration Department Head of Knowledge Examination Department and head of the curriculum standards group There were a total of 5 people. Data were collected by in-depth interviews and content analysis.
Research results (1) Factors related to the work of seafarers standards personnel found that overall At a high level (2) The efficiency of the personnel of the Seafarer Standards Division found that overall, it was at a high level (3) . Performance efficiency of seafarer’s standards personnel classified by sex, age, marital status, educational level. position type Work experience and monthly income found that the respondents were gender, age, marital status, education level. Different types of positions are effective in the performance of the ship's standard personnel. There were no statistically significant differences.
