Abstract

           This study aimed (1) to analyze the factors affecting people's participation in community development of Kui Nuea Sub-district, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, (2) to assess the level of people's participation in community development of Kui Nuea Sub-district, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and (3) to compare personal factors and factors affecting people's participation in community development of Kui Nuea Sub-district, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The total sample size was 385 people. Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and correlation coefficient. The research results found that the majority of the respondents had an overall opinion on the factors affecting people's participation in community development of Kui Nuea Sub-district, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province at a very high level, and on the overall opinion on people's participation in community development of Kui Nuea Sub-district, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province at a very high level. The results of the hypothesis testing found that (1) despite different personal factors, people's participation in community development of Kui Nuea Sub-district, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province is not different. At the .05 level of statistical significance (2) the results of the correlation test of factors affecting people's participation in community development have an effect on people's participation in community development in Kui Nuea Subdistrict, Kui Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The VIF values ​​are between 1.032 and 2.974. The tolerance values ​​are between .336 and .969, which are statistically significant at the .05 level, equal to 67.40, in which the two variables are inversely related.
