Public Opinion on the Desirable Characteristics of the Mayor of Ban Pho Subdistrict Municipality Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province

Abstract

            The research purposes were 1) to study the Public opinion on the desirable characteristics of the mayor of Ban Pho Subdistrict Municipality Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province. 2) to compare the Public opinion on the desirable characteristics of the mayor of Ban Pho Subdistrict Municipality Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province classified by the personal factors. The population was the people aged 18 years and over living in the area of the Ban Pho Subdistrict Municipality Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province; the sample group was the 339 people determined using Taro Yamane's formula stratified random sampling. The research instrument was the rating scale questionnaire. The data analysis statistics were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test.

            The research findings were: 1) The public's opinions on the desirable characteristics of the Mayor of Ban Pho Subdistrict Municipality of the people in the area of the Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province, found the overall was at high level; when descending mean were morality and ethics, followed by knowledge and ability, personality, and intelligence and 2) the people with different gender, education levels, and occupations had opinions on the desirable characteristics of the mayor of Ban Pho Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Pho District, Chachoengsao Province. Did not different.
