Author Guidelines

JRM welcomes original submissions that align with the journal’s focus on methodological rigor and relevance to educational research. Authors are expected to follow the guidelines below to prepare their manuscript for submission. Submissions that do not follow these guidelines may be returned for revision before peer review.

  1. File Format

Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format only. No PDF or LaTeX files.

  1. Length and Structure

There is no fixed word limit, but most manuscripts are between 5,000–8,000 words including references.
Organize your manuscript clearly, typically using the following structure (modify as appropriate for your manuscript type):

  • Title
  • Author information (in the submission system, not in the manuscript file)
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (3–5 words or phrases)
  • Introduction
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References
  • Appendices (if applicable)
  1. Formatting
  • Single spacing, single column, 12-point font (preferably ChulaCharasNew)
  • Use italics instead of underlining (except in URLs)
  • Place tables and figures within the text, near where they are first mentioned
  • Number pages continuously
  • Do not use footnotes; use endnotes only if necessary
  1. Language

Manuscripts can be written in Thai or English. The language must be clear, academic, and free from major grammar or spelling errors. Authors are responsible for language editing before submission.

  1. Referencing

Follow APA Style, 7th edition for all in-text citations and references. Include DOIs or URLs when available. Please consult with https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines

Ethics and Compliance

  • If your research involves human participants, include a statement about ethical approval in the Methods section.
  • You must declare any use of AI tools in writing, analysis, or data generation.
  • Authors are responsible for securing permission to use third-party material (e.g., instruments, copyrighted images).
  1. Metadata and Supplementary Materials
  • Enter all author names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs correctly in the submission system. Do not include author information in the manuscript file.
  • Make sure the title, abstract, and keywords in the system match those in the manuscript.
  • Submit any supplementary materials (e.g., datasets, tools, extended appendices) as separate files.
  1. Cover Letter

While optional, you are encouraged to include a brief cover letter highlighting the contribution of your manuscript and its relevance to JRM.
