Aims and Scope
Journal of Contemporary Social Sciences and Humanities (JCSH) aims to provide a high profile vehicle for publication of various new issues in different academic areas in Humanities and Social Sciences. JCSH invites scholars, researchers, professionals and academicians to publish their manuscripts in the journal.

Research Articles: A research article is a regular quantitative or qualitative article which aims to present new findings or interpretations. Categories of Articles
The Journal accepts the following types of articles:
- Research Articles: A research article is a regular quantitative or qualitative article which aims to present new findings or interpretations.
- Review Articles: A review article or survey articles, also called a literature review, is an article that survey of previously published research on a topic an summarizes the current state of understanding on a topic. It should give an overview of current thinking on the theme and, unlike an original research article, won't present new experimental results. By analyzing a large body of data from existing studies, some systematic reviews can come to new conclusions. Review articles can also provide recommendations for potential research areas to explore next. Moreover, a review article surveys and summarizes previously published studies, rather than reporting new facts or analysis.
Publication Frequency
JCSH publishes two issues per year:
No. 1, January-June; No. 2, July-December.
Language
JCSH requires that all articles be written in the English language. Clear and concise language and adherence to proper grammar and spelling are encouraged.
Content Registration
Starting from Volume 12(1) 2025, JCSH assigns digital object identifiers (DOIs) to all articles via CrossRef, including retroactively applying DOIs to previously published articles. This ensures richer metadata, making the content more discoverable and accessible. The metadata is also shared across various platforms, aiding in citation tracking, crediting the work, monitoring research impact, and reporting on funding outcomes.

The journal aims to promote open access to scientific research and to make research accessible to a broader audience. JCSH is an open-access journal, meaning all published articles are freely available online to anyone, anywhere in the world.
Journal History
Journal of Contemporary Social Sciences and Humanities (JCSH) was changed from Rangsit Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (RJSH). The first issue of JCSH, Vol. 10 No. 1, was launched in online (ISSN 2985-055X).
Ownership and Management/ Publisher
The journal is published by the Research Institute of Rangsit University, Thailand. Its management is overseen by the Editor-in-Chief and Section Editors, in consultation and with approval from the editorial board members, with documentation and administrative tasks handled by the editorial staff.

Revenue Sources
The JCST journal is partially supported by funding from Rangsit University, which covers operational costs such as staff salaries, software licensing (including the journal management system and DOI management tools), and other necessary systems. However, costs related to the peer review process (double-blind review) and English language editing are borne by the article authors.
Copyright and Licensing
JCSH is committed to protecting author rights and ensuring proper dissemination of research. Authors retain copyright and articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), enabling sharing, adaptation, and proper attribution.
JCSH also supports posting articles on third-party repositories, in line with institutional and funding requirements. JCSH promotes its content through Facebook to increase visibility within the academic. This also fosters pride for authors and provides a platform for discussions and knowledge exchange.
