Success Factors in the Management of Model Farm for Community Self-reliance: A Case Study of Ban Khok Rai Yai Village Narathiwat Province

This research aims to study the success factors of management in a model farm for community self-reliance, the case study of Ban Khok Rai Yai, Narathiwat Province. It is a qualitative study that collected data through in-depth interviews with three farm managers and ten farmers. working in the model farm. Additional information was gathered from related documents, and data was analyzed through content analysis.
The findings reveal that the success of the model farm can be categorized into three main aspects: (1) Management Structure: The farm is employed by a structured system with clearly defined roles, centralized policy direction, and government support in terms of infrastructure and knowledge transfer. (2) Human Resource Development: Farmers gain skills through hands-on experience and continuous learning, leading to greater expertise in farm management. (3) Technological Development and Application: The farm has been used drip irrigation systems and automated controls to reduce labor costs and increase production efficiency. Furthermore, the farm demonstrates sustainable development practices such as member participation, knowledge sharing, and community unity.
