TEACHER IN GENERATION BETA ERA

Abstract
Contemporary Thai society is a multi-generational society. Each generation possesses unique differences and characteristics derived from learning, exposure to diverse events, and diverse experiences throughout their lives. These shaped values and personalities, reflected in their thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and lifestyles. Understanding the diversity and unique characteristics of each generation, particularly Generation Beta, which began in 2025, is essential for understanding and learning. This will enable Generation Beta to live happily in society. It will also serve as a guideline for determining how to promote and develop knowledge, abilities, skills, and attitudes toward learning, careers, and how to treat others and the environment through education that aligns with Generation Beta's aptitudes, interests and needs.
Teachers are a key player in organizing education and developing the potential of Generation Beta. Their role is to develop students' knowledge, skills, attitudes, morality and ethics. Therefore, they should study information about Generation Beta characteristics and develop their own teacher characteristics to align with Generation Beta. Therefore, this article aims to present information and concepts about age groups or generations, Generation Beta teachers, and teacher characteristics. These can serve as basic information for teacher development at all levels of education to support Generation Beta education in the future.
