GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT FOR ASPARAGUS FARMERS IN BO PHLOI DISTRICT, KANCHANABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This study is a research type qualitative having objectives 4 main points are: 1) Study the model the management supply chain asparagus according to standard GAP 2) Analyze the administration management group farmers 3) Study problems and needs of farmers and 4) Develop guidelines strategy for the management chain supply asparagus to be consistent with standard GAP The sample group used in the study consists of farmers who plant asparagus who are members of group in Amphoe Bophloi Kanchanaburi Province number 34 people committee group 3 persons and officials from government agencies that are involved 2 persons total all 39 persons by using interview form in-depth as tool in the collection data. Data were analyzed using triangulation to increase reliability.

          The results of the study found that 1) The operation is going in the manner integrated from upstream to downstream that is consistent with standard GAP by having the use organic substances biopesticides and has system traceability that is clear 2) The administration management group farmers has structure that is clear has meeting planning and administration management factors of production in the manner grouping together to reduce cost along with has control quality produce according to standard GAP continuously 3) The main problem of farmers is quality produce that is not consistent which has cause from the lack of knowledge in-depth side factors of production and limitations side market that is volatile making farmers have need the support side body of knowledge/technology and channels of distribution new 4) The guidelines for development focus on the strengthening competitiveness in the manner sustainable by consisting of the development body of knowledge the application use technology the creation network cooperation the expansion market and the management data in the manner systematic
