A STUDY THE DEVELOPMENT OF STRATEGIES FOR PROPAGATING BUDDHISM OF MAHACHULALONGKORNRAJAVIDYALAYA

Abstract

This academic article aims to study the development of strategies for propagating Buddhism at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. It was found that Buddhist disciples are an important force in propagating Buddhism in order to bring the teachings of the Buddha to the people. Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University's strategy for propagating Buddhism addresses the propagation of Buddhism today. You should not use the method of preaching alone. But there should be an opportunity for listeners who have questions about the Dhamma to ask questions. and explain the facts clearly to the listeners to relieve their doubts. It is an evaluation in itself according to the progress of modern technology. Phra Dhammaduta must study and learn languages. Have the right attitude Wisdom that is proficient in Patibhana is witty in responding.  Nowadays, knowledge about meditation is of great interest to Thais and foreigners. The propagation of Buddhism by  Foreign’s Phra Dhammaduta in Asia,  America and Europe all face similar situations, such as: climate, the laws or regulations of each country are different from Thailand. This causes the construction of temples, chapels, maintenance and repairs to be a real problem in practice.  In countries that are not originally Buddhist cities, there will be practical problems. More or less according to the situation of that country, such as: Some countries prohibit alms. Other beliefs are discouraged. Carrying out any activity must have the consent of people in that community first. Climate, especially in cold countries This causes problems in adapting to the weather. It affects whether the dress can be changed or not.  Problems of Phra Dhammaduta who are responsible for spreading Buddhism, such as communication skills in local languages. and not understanding the culture in that area.
