PREVENTION AND RESOLUTION OF DRUG PROBLEMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE 4TH PRINCIPLE OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT, SRIRACHA DISTRICT, CHONBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the prevention and solution of drug problems according to the Four Noble Truths of the administrative sector of Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. 2) To compare the prevention and solution of drug problems according to the Four Noble Truths of the administrative department of Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. 3) To provide recommendations for drug prevention and solution based on the Four Noble Truths of the Sri Racha District Administration, Chonburi Province. This is mixed-method research by distributing questionnaires to a sample group of 399 people. Data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. and tested the hypothesis with t-test and F-test and used interview form with 5 key informants by analyzing and categorizing the data and summarizing it as descriptive text.


The research results revealed: 1) The results of the study of public opinion on drug prevention and resolution according to the Four Noble Truths of the Sri Racha District Administration, Chonburi Province, across all four dimensions were at a high level. When considering each aspect in descending order of average values, the aspect with the highest average value was administrative work, followed by investigative work, respectively. 2) The hypothesis testing revealed that people with different levels of education, occupation, and income had similar opinions on drug prevention and resolution according to the Four Noble Truths of the Sri Racha District Administration, Chonburi Province, across all four dimensions. 3) Recommendations for drug prevention and resolution according to the Four Noble Truths of the Sri Racha District Administration, Chonburi Province, include: Performing duties to prevent both drugs and crime, for the safety of citizens' lives and property. Regularly patrolling isolated areas and abandoned buildings. Prevention and suppression: Paying attention to and performing duties to prevent both drugs and crime, for the safety of citizens' lives and property. Regularly patrolling isolated areas and abandoned buildings. Investigation: Conducting transparent investigations. Commanders must strictly monitor and follow up on cases or have regular reports. Investigations must be fair and impartial for both parties. Regarding treatment work, there are drug treatment and drug camps that recruit drug addicts' children who want to repent and quit drugs without any criminal record.
