CREATING ARTISTIC SPACES AND PRESERVATION MODELS OF BANANA STALK CARVING IN PHETCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract
This study aims to (1) study the context, survey, general conditions, knowledge, wisdom of the art of palm leaf carving in Phetchaburi Province, (2) study the knowledge to develop the process of promoting the conservation model of palm leaf carving in Phetchaburi Province, (3) to develop the creation of a palm leaf carving art area in Phetchaburi Province.
This research article is a qualitative research study, starting from the study of the concept of art and the concept of art, information about palm leaf carving in Phetchaburi Province by studying documents, textbooks, research related to the Phetchaburi craftsmen's school. Then, interviews were conducted with relevant persons to learn about the identity and palm leaf carving of Phetchaburi Province in order to develop innovation and palm leaf carving in Phetchaburi Province and analyze changes in palm leaf carving in Phetchaburi Province, as well as listen to suggestions in various aspects and summarize and analyze the results to evaluate the appropriateness for further improvement and presentation.
