THE MANAGEMENT OF LEARNING RESOURCES IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN PHETCHABUN PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of this research are as follows: To study the management of learning resources in private schools in Phetchabun Province. To compare the levels of personnel opinions toward the management of learning resources in private schools in Phetchabun, categorized by education level, work experience, and job position. To explore guidelines for the development of learning resource management in private schools in Phetchabun Province. The sample group consisted of 319 personnel from private schools in Phetchabun Province, selected through stratified random sampling based on the Krejcie and Morgan sample size table. The research instruments included a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and a structured interview. The questionnaire was validated for content accuracy, with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranging from 0.80 to 1.00, and had a reliability coefficient of 0.80. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics, including t-test, F-test (ANOVA), and Scheffé’s method for pairwise comparisons.
The research findings revealed that:
1.The overall level of learning resource management in private schools in Phetchabun Province was rated as "high," both overall and in each specific aspect.
- Comparisons based on education level and work experience showed no statistically significant differences in either the overall or individual aspects.
3.Comparisons based on job position showed statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level, except in the area of planning the use of learning resources, where no significant difference was found.
4.Guidelines for developing learning resource management include Planning: Establishing a shared strategy and goals between learning resource providers and users. Creation and Development: Encouraging students to engage in learning from relevant external sources. Monitoring and Evaluation: Conducting joint evaluations between teachers and students to use the results for continuous improvement. Conclusion and Reporting: Creating manuals and disseminating information related to learning resources to promote practical application and future development.
