APPLICATION OF BUDDHIST PRINCIPLES TO COMMUNICATE STATE WELFARE PROVISION OF SRI NAWA SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, MUEANG DISTRICT, NAKHON NAYOK PROVINCE.

Abstract

This research aims to 1. Study the level of communication for state welfare management of the Srinawa Subdistrict Administrative Organization. 2. Compare public opinions on communication for state welfare management of the Srinawa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, categorized by personal factors. 3. Present the application of Buddhist principles for communication regarding state welfare management of the Srinawa Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The research employs a mixed-methods approach. The quantitative research uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool, with a sample group consisting of 367 individuals aged 18 and over in the Srinawa area. The statistical methods used for data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Hypothesis testing is conducted using t-tests and ANOVA. The qualitative research involves in-depth interviews with 9 key informants, and the data is analyzed through descriptive content analysis.

The research results found that 1) The level of communication for state welfare management of the Si Nawa Subdistrict Administrative Organization is overall at a high level. When considering each aspect, it is found that the aspect with the highest average is the sender aspect, followed by the information aspect, and the aspect with the lowest average is the receiver aspect. 2) A comparison of public opinions on communication for state welfare management of the Si Nawa Subdistrict Administrative Organization, categorized by personal factors, shows that individuals of different genders have similar opinions regarding communication for state welfare management in Si Nawa Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Nayok Province. Therefore, the research hypothesis is rejected. 3) The application of Buddhist principles for communication in state welfare management of the Si Nawa Subdistrict Administrative Organization uses the principle of bias: (1) Attachment bias - communication reflects love and concern; (2) Aversion bias - information is ambiguous or confusing; (3) Delusion bias - leads to incorrect decisions regarding welfare information; (4) Fear bias - prevents fear bias through a personnel protection system.
