PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT MODEL IN THE DIGITAL ERA BASED ON THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS FOR ADMINISTRATORS OF MAHACHULALONGKORNRAJAVIDYALAYA UNIVERSITY

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) study the needs assessment of personnel administration in the digital era among administrators of Mahachulalongkorn rajavidyalaya University; 2) develop a personnel administration model in the digital era based on the Four Noble Truths for administrators of Mahachula longkornrajavidyalaya University; 3) implement the personnel administration model in the digital era based on the Four Noble Truths for administrators of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University; and 4) evaluate the personnel administration model in the digital era based on the Four Noble Truths for administrators of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The research employed a multi-phase mixed methods approach consisting of quantitative and qualitative research. The quantitative research samples consisted of 306 administrators and professional and general administrative personnel of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The research instruments included questionnaires, interview forms, focus group discussion forms, and evaluation forms. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, PNImodified index, and content analysis.
The results of the research revealed that: 1) the overall needs assessment index for personnel administration in the digital era had a PNImodified value of 0.183. The highest priority need was the use of Human Resource Software, followed by Internet-based human resource management, Intranet usage, and Human Resource Information Center, respectively; 2) the developed model consisted of four components: principles, objectives, operational processes, and evaluation. The model emphasized the integration of digital technology with the Four Noble Truths to enhance the efficiency of personnel administration within the university; 3) the implementation of the model showed that administrators and personnel were highly satisfied with the model and were able to apply it appropriately in personnel administration; and 4) the evaluation of the model by experts and related stakeholders indicated that the model possessed the highest levels of accuracy, appropriateness, feasibility, and usefulness. The model could effectively be applied to personnel administration at Mahachulalongkorn rajavidyalaya University.
