The Model of People’s Participation in Public Policy Development of Tam Nak Tam Sub-District Administrative Organization Nong Muang Khai District, Phrae Province

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the model of people’s participation in the public policy development of Tam Nak Tham Sub-district Administrative Organization, Nong Muang Khai District, Phrae Province. This research was the mixed methods both quantitative and qualitative research. Data were collected by using questionnaires people in the community and interviews with community leaders and leaders of Tam Nak Tam Sub-district Administrative Organization The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The interview results were used by the method of description. The results of this research were as follows;      

1. The results of the analysis of the people's participation in the public policy development of Tam Nak Tam Subdistrict Administrative Organization found that the overall level was at the highest level. Considering in each aspect, found that there were at high levels of opinions in all aspects. it arranged in descending order including decision making, operating cooperation, listening to opinions, control Joint planning and providing information respectively
2. The results of the analysis of the form of people's participation in the public policy development of Tam Nak Tam Sub-district Administrative Organization must consider working together in the form of a board. There was a coordination and the community all together in the community in order to get accurate information for joint decision making, allowing opportunities for all sections to express opinions, discussion together using the democratic system as a decision maker in the planning of operations, decide to act together and received mutual benefits with a monitoring committee to evaluate the operation results, suggestions and solutions to solve problems together in a systematic way.
