The Attitude and The Ability to Read and Think Critically in Thai Using Sq4r Technique and Skill Practice Form of Grade 5 Students

A study of attitudes and ability to read and think critically in Thai by using SQ4R technique together with skill exercises. The objectives of this study were: 1. To study the attitude towards reading and analyzing Thai language. Before and after learning management by using SQ4R technique together with skill exercises of grade 5 students 2. To compare the achievement of analytical reading in Thai before and after learning management using SQ4R technique together with the form Practicing skills of grade 5 students
The results showed that Students have the ability to read and analyze Thai language. After using the Thai language skill training set higher than before using the Thai language skill training set After using the Thai language skill training set the learning management by using SQ4R technique together with the skills exercises X =25.00 (SD=1.642) and before using the Thai language skill training set. The learning management using SQ4R technique combined with the skill exercises were X =9.79 (SD=2.843), with a significant statistical difference at the .01 level. Prathomsuksa 5 students at Ban Khao Yaowarat Phatthana School, Muang District, Chumphon Province had an attitude towards reading and analyzing the Thai language after learning management by using the SQ4R technique together with the skill exercises of the grade 5 students equal to X = 4.54 (SD=0.54)
