Factors Affecting to the Community Strength: A Case Study of Koh Yor Sub-District Community, Mueang Songkhla District, Songkhla Province

Abstract

This research study focuses on the following objective to analyze the cooperation factors and community economy factors that affect the community strength in Koh Yor Subdistrict, Mueang District, Songkhla Province. The study used multi-methods research. The sample group used in this research study was 359 people living in the community of Koh Yor Sub-District Community, Mueang District, Songkhla Province. This quantitative research uses a questionnaire as the research tool as well as using statistics to multiple regression analysis, and in the qualitative method research uses content analysis. The research results found that the acceptance agreement significantly affected the community strength in Koh Yor Subdistrict, Mueang District, Songkhla Province at the .01 level, with a relationship in the same direction (β2 = .174, p < .01). The operation significantly affected the community strength in Koh Yor Subdistrict, Mueang District, Songkhla Province at the .001 level, with a relationship in the same direction (β3 = .475, p < .001). The assessment significantly affected the community strength in Koh Yor Subdistrict, Mueang District, Songkhla Province at the .01 level, with a relationship in the same direction (β4 = .145, p < .01). Human resource development significantly affected the community strength of Koh Yor Subdistrict, Mueang District, Songkhla Province at the .05 level (β5 = .114, p < .05), which was in accordance with the research hypotheses. All independent variables could explain 29 percent of the community strength (R2 = .290). The recommendation is that community work processes should be promoted to be consistent with the needs of people in the area that are changing both socially and economically.
