Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed to: (1) examine customers' expectations and perceptions of service quality; (2) evaluate the restaurant's service quality using Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA); (3) investigate customers' intention to become promoters through recommendations; and (4) examine the influence of perceived service quality on customers' intention to recommend Bubble Bar, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province. This quantitative study collected data from 120 customers using a questionnaire developed based on the DINESERV model combined with food and beverage quality dimensions, covering six service quality dimensions. A seven-point Likert scale was employed. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA), Net Promoter Score (NPS), and multiple regression analysis.
The results revealed that: (1) customers reported very high levels of both expectations and perceptions of service quality across almost all dimensions; (2) IPA indicated that Responsiveness and Food and Beverage Quality were positioned in the "Concentrate Here" quadrant, suggesting that these dimensions should be prioritized for improvement; (3) 57.50% of the customers were classified as Promoters; and (4) multiple regression analysis showed that Empathy and Customer Understanding (β = .383) and Food and Beverage Quality (β = .689) had significant positive effects on customers' intention to recommend the restaurant (p < .05). Collectively, the six service quality dimensions explained 60.80% of the variance in customers' recommendation intention.
