MANAGERIAL SKILLS IN THE 21ST CENTURY BY EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATORS OF THE MUEANG DOK BUA SCHOOL CLUSTER UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE UBON RATCHATHANI AMNAT CHAROEN

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1. to study the 21st century school administration skills of school administrators in the Mueang Dok Bua School Cluster under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Ubon Ratchathani Amnat Charoen 2. to study guidelines for developing the 21st century school administration skills of school administrators in the Mueang Dok Bua School Cluster under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Ubon Ratchathani Amnat Charoen The research sample consisted of 176 teachers from schools within the Mueang Dok Bua School Cluster. The research instrument used for data collection was a 5-point Likert-scale questionnaire, which yielded item discrimination power (r) ranging from 0.40 to 0.84 and a total reliability coefficient of 0.97. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and qualitative data analysis.

The research findings were as follows: 1. Managerial Skills in the 21st Century by Educational Administrators of the Mueang Dok Bua School Cluster under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen, were practiced at the highest level. When considering individual aspects ranked from the highest to the lowest mean, the skills included Cross-Cultural Understanding Skills, Role-Adaptation Skills, Participatory Management Skills, Proactive Management Skills, Equitable Service Skills, Small Organization Management Skills, and Educational Partnership Building Skills. 2. Guidelines for developing 21st-century school administration skills suggest that administrators should transition from a directive role to a facilitator who emphasizes active participation and proactive management. Furthermore, organizational structures should be streamlined to enhance agility, reduce complexity, and strengthen collaborative networks with external stakeholders.
