Main Article Content
Abstract
This research article aimed to: 1) study the level of opinions of digital-age passengers toward digital technology factors in airline services; 2) examine the decision-making behavior in selecting airline services among digital-age passengers; and 3) analyze the influence of digital technology factors affecting passengers’ decisions to use airline services in the digital era. This study employed a quantitative research approach using a survey research method. Data were collected from 400 airline passengers who had experience using digital service systems. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics through multiple regression analysis.
The findings revealed that:
1) Digital-age passengers placed the highest level of importance on digital technology factors in airline services overall. The factor with the highest mean score was the convenience of digital system usage, followed by system speed and personal data security.
2) The overall level of passengers’ decision-making in choosing airline services was high. Passengers emphasized convenience, speed, and reliability of airline online systems, indicating that user experience through applications and websites significantly influenced service selection decisions.
3) Digital technology factors had a positive influence on passengers’ decisions to choose airline services at the statistical significance level of .05. The most influential factors were convenience of digital system usage, system speed, and personal data security. The results indicate that digital technology plays a significant role in improving service quality and enhancing the sustainable competitiveness of airlines in the digital era.
