EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION UNDER DIGITAL GOVERNANCE THROUGH AGILE EDUCATION MANAGEMENT: A PATHWAY TOWARD TRANSPARENCY AND EDUCATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY IN THE CONTEXT OF PATHUM THANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract

This academic article, based on documentary analysis, aims to examine educational administration under the principles of digital governance integrated with Agile Education Management in order to propose guidelines for developing a transparent, flexible, and sustainable educational management system within the context of Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The study employed document analysis and the synthesis of relevant concepts, theories, and research from both national and international sources. The findings indicate that digital governance serves as a key mechanism for promoting transparency, accountability, auditability, stakeholder participation, and data-driven decision-making. Meanwhile, Agile management enhances organizational flexibility, operational efficiency, reduces bureaucratic complexity, and enables rapid adaptation to changing environments.

          Furthermore, the integration of digital governance and Agile management contributes to improving educational administration, strengthening stakeholder trust, and enhancing the capacity of educational organizations to respond effectively to the demands of the digital society. This integrated approach is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, thereby supporting long-term educational sustainability. Therefore, educational agencies should promote the development of digital information systems, strengthen digital leadership, and apply Agile principles in organizational management to improve educational governance and ensure responsiveness to the challenges of the twenty-first century.
