Abstract

This research article aimed to: 1) examine the levels of administrative and organizational factors of the Army Aviation Unit, including leadership, strategic management, safety culture, human resource development, and quality and standard management; 2) investigate the level of development of the aircraft maintenance system of the Army Aviation Unit toward international standards; and 3) analyze the influence of administrative and organizational factors on the development of the aircraft maintenance system of the Army Aviation Unit toward international standards. This study employed a quantitative research approach using a survey research design. Data were collected from 400 personnel involved in aircraft maintenance operations within the Army Aviation Unit. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire with an overall reliability coefficient of .97. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics, including Pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.

          The research findings revealed that:

          1) the overall administrative and organizational factors were at the highest level (x̄ = 4.52, S.D. = 0.41), with safety culture showing the highest mean score (x̄ = 4.61, S.D. = 0.39), followed by quality and standard management (x̄ = 4.58, S.D. = 0.42).

          2) the overall level of development of the aircraft maintenance system toward international standards was at the highest level (x̄ = 4.55, S.D. = 0.40).

          3) administrative and organizational factors positively influenced the development of the aircraft maintenance system toward international standards at the statistical significance level of .01, jointly predicting 72.40 percent of the variance in system development (R² = .724).
