GUIDELINE FOR DEVELOPING THE SUSTAINABLE LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER ROI-ET PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) investigate the current conditions, desirable conditions, and priority needs for developing the Sustainable Leadership of the school administrators; and 2. develop the guidelines for developing the Sustainable Leadership of school administrators. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, consisting of two phases. In Phase 1, the current conditions, desirable conditions, and priority needs were examined. The sample group consisted of 316 school administrators and teachers, selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using mean, percentage, and standard deviation. In Phase 2, guidelines for developing the Sustainable Leadership of school administrators were formulated. Qualitative data was collected through structured interviews with key informants, including 3 administrators and 5 experts. The appropriateness and feasibility of the guidelines were evaluated, and the data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation.
The findings revealed that: 1) The overall current condition of the Sustainable Leadership of the school administrators was at a high level, while the overall desirable condition was at the highest level. The priority needs for development, ranked from highest to lowest, were as follows: Diversity, Justice, Spreads, Visions, Resourcefulness, and Depth. 2)The guidelines for developing the Sustainable Leadership of the school administrators comprised six aspects with a total of 28 approaches: (1) Diversity (4 approaches), (2) Justice
(5 approaches), (3) Spreads (5 approaches), (4) Vision (5 approaches),
(5) Resourcefulness (4 approaches), and (6) Depth (5 approaches). The suitability and the feasibility of the guidelines was assessed at the highest level.
