SCHOOL BUILDING AND GROUNDS MANAGEMENT ROMAN BURIRAM EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 4

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the building and facility management of schools under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, and 2) compare the level of opinion of personnel regarding the building and facility management of schools under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, classified by position, work experience, and school size. 3) This research aimed to study approaches to promoting building and facility management in schools under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office, Zone 4. The sample group consisted of 333 school administrators and teachers. The research instrument was a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with a content validity index between 0.80 and 1.00 The reliability coefficient of the entire questionnaire was 0.80, and a semi-structured interview was used. Statistical analyses included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.

          The research findings revealed that:

1. The overall management of school buildings and facilities under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 was at a high level.


2. A comparison of opinions regarding the management of school buildings and facilities in schools under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, categorized by position, revealed overall statistically significant differences at the .05 level. However, when categorized by work experience and school size, there were no significant differences overall.


3. Guidelines for promoting the management of school buildings and facilities under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 4 include: 1) brainstorming ways to facilitate the school's academic operations; 2) promoting the smooth and efficient operation of other school activities; and 3) preparing for changes in educational management 4) Promoting student readiness and satisfaction in utilizing the buildings and facilities; 5) Supporting activities and services to the community using the buildings and facilities as a central hub
