Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) study the level of participatory administration of school administrators; 2) study the internal quality assurance of small-sized schools; 3) examine the participatory administration of school administrators affecting the internal quality assurance of small-sized schools; and 4) study guidelines for developing participatory administration of school administrators affecting the internal quality assurance of small-sized schools under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. This study employed a Mixed Methods Research design. The population consisted of 307 individuals, with a sample group of 170 participants obtained through proportional stratified random sampling by district. The research instruments comprised a five-level rating scale questionnaire and a semi-structured interview form. Statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and content analysis.
The research findings were as follows:
1) The participatory administration of school administrators was, overall, at the highest level in all aspects.
2) The internal quality assurance of small-sized schools was, overall, at the highest level in all aspects as well.
3) Participatory administration had a positive relationship with internal quality assurance at a very high level, with statistical significance at the .01 level (r = .942), and could predict internal quality assurance at as high as 92.70 percent (R² = .927).
4) Key development guidelines indicate that administrators should foster a shared sense of ownership, decentralize decision-making, build organizational commitment, and create a safe space for personnel to express opinions freely.
