THE PHENOMENON OF USING NICCOLO MACHIAVELLI’S CONCEPTS IN THE THAI POLITICS CONTEXT

Abstract
Nicolo Machiavelli is a writer who focuses on creating techniques of political success by emphasizing the importance of imagination and replacing rationality in political thinking. Nicolo Machiavelli's ideas were important in examining the relationship between political power and morality and the use of means to achieve political goals. The phenomenon of using Nicolo Machiavelli's ideas in the context of Thai politics; (1) Phenomenal politics and the pursuit of power, (2) Real Politics and Diplomacy, (3) The Art of Deception, (4) The importance of appearance, (5) The role of morality in politics, and (6) The role of leadership.
