COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COMMISSION, PATHUM THANI PROVINCE

Abstract
This research aims to study and compare the level of opinions of personnel regarding the communication skills of school administrators under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Pathum Thani Province, classified by educational level, position, and work experience, and to study guidelines for developing communication skills of school administrators under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Pathum Thani Province. The sample used in this research consisted of 348 personnel from the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Pathum Thani Province, during the 2023 academic year, obtained through stratified random sampling. The research instruments were a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with an IOC value between 0.80 and 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.89, and structured interviews. Statistical analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.
The research findings revealed the following:
- The overall and individual aspects of communication skills among vocational school administrators in Pathum Thani Province under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission were at a high level.
- A comparative analysis of communication skills among vocational school administrators in Pathum Thani Province, categorized by educational level, position, and work experience, showed no significant differences overall.
- Guidelines for developing communication skills among vocational school administrators in Pathum Thani Province include: speaking and writing ability, ability to communicate through technology, and ability to motivate and persuade.
