STRATEGIC APPROACHES TO ENHANCING ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY: A CASE STUDY OF A WHOLESALE ENTERPRISE IN DOEMBANG NANGBUAT DISTRICT, SUPHAN BURI PROVINC

Abstract
This research article aims to: (1) examine the operational conditions of a wholesale enterprise in Doembang Nangbuat District, Suphan Buri Province, focusing on organizational structure, workflow processes, and inventory management systems; (2) analyze the problems and constraints encountered by various departments within the organization; and (3) propose strategic approaches to improving management efficiency. A qualitative research design was employed, consisting of three phases. Phase 1 involved an investigation of the organization's current operations through in-depth interviews with 12 purposively selected managers and employees, supplemented by workplace observations. Research instruments included semi-structured interview guides and observation forms. Phase 2 analyzed operational issues using content analysis to identify key problem areas systematically. Phase 3 synthesized development strategies by consulting five organizational management experts to evaluate the appropriateness, feasibility, and usefulness of the proposed approaches.
The research findings reveal that: (1) the current operations exhibit critical weaknesses in internal management, stock control, and interdepartmental coordination; (2) major problems include unclear task allocation, inaccurate inventory data, lengthy product inspection processes, and non-standardized communication; and (3) the recommended improvement strategies comprise four key components: establishing clear workflow systems, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), enhancing employee competencies, and integrating organizational information systems. Expert evaluations indicate that these strategies are appropriate, practical, and applicable at a high level.
