Rural Sociology

Abstract

The study of rural sociology in Thailand began in 1965 at Kasetsart University for the first time. Before that, the contents of rural sociology were taught in other subjects such as introductory sociology, government, community development, etc. Later, higher education institutions in Thailand began to teach the subject of rural sociology. He started teaching at the Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology. Thammasat University Department of Sociology and Anthropology Chiang Mai University and Khon Kaen University, etc. Currently, sociology is open to general teaching. in other higher education institutions And more and more students are interested in taking this subject every year.
