THE EFFECTS OF MORAL STORYTELLING ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP THE DISCIPLINE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD

Abstract

This research abstract aims to study the results of moral storytelling activities to improve the discipline of early childhood and to compare the discipline of early childhood before and after the moral storytelling activities. Early childhood students aged 5-6 years study in kindergarten level 3, 1st semester of Banchalan School year 2027.  Jan Chan Phana Subdistrict, Amnat Charoen Province, has 15 students who use the Cluster Random Sampling model. It takes 8 weeks to collect data daily using research tools: 1) 8 moral stories, 2) moral storytelling activities, and 3) observation of early childhood discipline. There is a consistency value between 50.  - 1.00 and confidence values using the Reliability Cronbach Alpha method are equal. 80 Using the One-Group Pre-test Post-test Design methodology, the research found that.

1. The study's results on moral narrative improve the mood of early childhood before and after the moral narrative activities. Overall, the discipline of early childhood children before the moral narrative activities was found to be low. After the moral narrative activities, the average level of discipline was higher.
