DEVELOPMENT OF AN ONLINE SURVEY SYSTEM TO SUPPORT DATA MANAGEMENT AT THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE, PRINCE OF SONGKLA UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) design and develop an online questionnaire system to support data management within the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University; 2) evaluate the system’s operational efficiency; and 3) assess user satisfaction toward the system. The research sample consisted of 35 participants, including lecturers, students, and administrative staff. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation. The findings indicate that the system effectively supports data management operations and has strong potential for future enhancement.

          The research results are as follows:

1. The system was successfully developed and aligned with the users’ objectives and requirements.


2. The system demonstrated a high level of efficiency, particularly in reducing operational steps and time, with a mean score of 4.57 and a standard deviation of 0.70.


3. Overall user satisfaction was also rated at a very high level, with the highest score observed in the area of user support during system operation (mean = 4.63, SD = 0.49).

These findings suggest that the developed online questionnaire system is both effective and user-centered, and can play a significant role in improving internal data management within the Faculty of Medicine.
