COMPETENCIES OF AVIATION INDUSTRY OPERATORS AFFECTING WORK PERFORMANCE IN CRISIS SITUATIONS

Abstract
This article aims to Identify the key competencies of aviation operators for working in crisis situations, based on the opinions of aviation industry experts. Analyze the level of competencies of aviation operators that affect work performance in crisis situations. Study the relationship between key competencies and work performance in crisis situations. Test the influence of key competencies on work performance in crisis situations using regression analysis. The Delphi technique was used to gather expert opinions via a questionnaire, conducted in 3 rounds with 17 experts. The Delphi results were then used to create a competency questionnaire for aviation operators, which was distributed to a sample of 384 aviation operators. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis.
Research findings include:
1) The most important competency for working in crisis situations is a positive attitude toward work, scoring an average of 4.6 out of 5, indicating adaptability in challenging situations. Personality traits scored 4.5, while communication skills and specific knowledge scored 4.3 and 4.4, respectively.
2) The analysis of competency levels showed that a positive attitude toward work has the greatest impact on work performance in crisis situations, with a correlation of 85%, higher than communication skills at 75%.
3) The correlation analysis revealed a strong relationship between a positive attitude toward work and work performance, with an r-value of 0.78 (p<0.01).
4) Regression testing found that a positive attitude toward work has the highest influence on work performance in crisis situations, with a Beta coefficient of 0.52.
