ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING OPERATIONSINTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA, PATHUMTHANI AREA 1

Abstract

This research aimed to 1. study the level of academic leadership of school administrators, 2.study the level of internal quality assurance implementation in schools, and 3. study the academic leadership of school administrators that affects the internal quality assurance implementation in schools under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani. The sample group used in the research was 226 directors, deputy directors or heads of personnel administration, and teachers under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, who were randomly selected from a population of 568 people. The sampling method used 2 steps: Step 1, 25 schools were selected using a stratified proportional sampling method using school size as a criterion. Step 2 used simple random sampling to select teachers from schools of each size. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability value of .8560. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

          The research results found that: 1.Academic leadership of school administrators under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, was at a high level overall. 2.Internal quality assurance operations under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, were at a high level overall. 3.Academic leadership of school administrators affecting internal quality assurance operations under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, could jointly predict the effectiveness of internal quality assurance of schools under the Office of the Primary Educational Service Area 1, Pathum Thani, at 87.79 percent, with statistical significance at the .
