COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES USED IN A GLOBALIZED SOCIETY

Abstract
The study “Communication Strategies Used in a Globalized Society” aims to review: 1. concepts and theories of communication in a globalized society with international language in the Thai context, 2. the trends of communication strategies in Thai and globalized society from information, textbooks, and researches related, and then analyzed the data. The data analyzed were: 1. communication strategies, 2. Thai communication which consisted of: (1) Thai communication with listening skills, (2) Thai communication with speaking skills, (3) Thai communication with reading skills, and (4) Thai communication with writing skills, 3. English communication which included: (1) upskilling English communication, (2) strategies of English communication, (3) using English in communication as World Englishes or an international language, (4) the importance and benefits of World Englishes communication in globalized society, (5) trends of World Englishes used today, (6) the troubles of World Englishes in communication, and (7) Thai English used in World Englishes, 4. Using artificial intelligence in communication which were: (1) Definition of AI and its characteristic, (2) types of AI, and 5. trends of communication strategies in a globalized society.
