Main Article Content
Abstract
This quantitative research are: 1) to compare the repeat purchase behavior of fashion apparel via e-commerce platforms among consumers with different demographic profiles. 2) to compare the repeat purchase behavior of fashion apparel via e-commerce platforms among consumers with different purchasing behaviors. 3) to analyze the influence of brand image on the repeat purchase behavior of fashion apparel via e-commerce platforms. And, 4) to analyze the influence of experiential marketing on the repeat purchase behavior of fashion apparel via e-commerce platforms. Data were collected via online questionnaires from 400 Generation Y office workers aged 30–45 who had purchased fashion clothing online more than once in the past six months, using purposive and quota sampling methods. Descriptive statistics, t-test, F-test and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. The results indicated that differences in gender and average monthly income significantly affected repeat purchases, while age, education level, and occupation showed no significant differences at the 0.05 level. Variations in purchasing behaviors specifically frequency, platform, time, average spending, and influential channels significantly influenced repeat purchases. All six dimensions of brand image, including brand salience, performance, imagery, judgments, feelings, and resonance, were significantly associated with repeat purchases. Regarding experimental marketing, the sense, feel, think, and act dimensions significantly driven repeat purchases, while the related dimension showed no significant association. These findings offer practical guidelines for e-commerce entrepreneurs to design experimental marketing strategies and strengthen brand images to effectively stimulate repeat purchases among young professional consumers.
